This is one of the photos submitted for Zephyr's adult papers.  He passed his Penn hip test and heart certification at this time.  He truly seems to be a gentle giant as Tina Barber describes this breed in her book The Shiloh Shepherd Story,Against the Wind, A Breed is Born.  This book is a must-read for anyone interested in the Shiloh Shepherd Breed.

I belong to the SDDCA (Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club of America) and this spring when I agreed to become a Licensed Breeder in Training, I signed a Breeder's Code of Ethics.  This insures I will do my best to maintain the True Shiloh Shepherd standard as defined by the breed founder, Tina Barber.  My commitment is sincere and my knowledge will continue to increase with my participation in this fantastic program and the guidance and support of the Shiloh Shepherd Community Forums.

Z's first litter was born in North Carolina this summer.

He won his first adult Best in Show at the MAC Columbus Day Show in Virginia, once again with Jan as handler.
